What is Twinning program?

The collaborative program is called " Twinning Program" in which the students pursue the first three years of a Engineering degree program at RITHS, and the last One year in  U.K. Your study at RITHS will be evaluated by RITHS and issue you academic credits. These academic credits are transferred to the foreign university and they accept these credits and admits the student to final year Degree course as a Transfer Student. The student visa, hostel accommodation and all similar facilities will be provided by the University.  Wolverhampton is a great place to stay in England and University of Wolverhampton is crowned as the "Friendliest University in U.K".

The RITHS is the first in Kerala to establish a collaboration with a reputed British university at the degree level in  Engineering. RITHS is the first institution in India obtained permission from reputed foreign universities to conduct 3+1 (3 years in India + 1 year at Foreign University) twinning courses in Engineering. There are several institutions in India offer 2+2, as you study 2 years abroad costs you double than a RITHS  student.

Twinning Program

A major innovation in the higher education pertaining to international studies in India is the "Twinning Program" concept. "Twinning" allows a foreign partner institution to offer the maximum of their university degree programs by replicating segments of the curricula. Courses offered in India are clones of the university courses, using identical syllabi, titles, numbers, texts, teaching formats, and evaluation standards as their model on-campus.

Students who successfully complete such a twinning program are guaranteed transfer of their credits to the foreign university. They can then finish their Bachelor's degree in about one year at the university as transfer student. Hence, the term "3+1" is also used to describe twinning. A similar working principle is provided for Graduate programs too. Thereby, this gives the benefit of understanding both the cultures.

Academic work at partner institutions is Transcripted by the foreign partner. Faculty at partner institutions are recruited, paid, and governed by the work rules of those institutions. University sets standards for hiring faculty who teach in the 3+1programs and monitors their effectiveness during regular visits and reviews of sample student work. Twinning has proved to be a "win-win" arrangement. This guaranteed a steady stream of well-prepared students who have been instructed entirely in English and are ready to begin their major sequences as juniors.

Families of the University-bound students save sixty percent or more of the cost of an overseas degree, partner institutions are strengthened by access to the latest in British curricular developments, and foreign countries save precious hard currency. Whether AICTE Approval Necessary?

As per foreign University courses ( Twinning Courses) concerned, the student is awarded Degree at the original jurisdiction of the foreign university which is recognized and accredited. The degrees are awarded in foreign country were AICTE act is not applicable. The degrees awarded by foreign universities at its' original jurisdiction are not under the purview of AICTE act .

UGC decided  to give approval for Twinning courses or foreign university courses. We welcome the move.

Whether Rajasthan Vidyapeeth  Deemed University is accredited by NAAC?

Yes, we are accredited by NAAC having 'B++' ( i.e.. Attained 85% marks in grading) with FIVE STAR rating. Our University's image for academics and performance reflects in this national wide rating.

Whether Rajasthan Vidyapeeth  Deemed University degrees are recognized in Foreign Countries?

Yes, definitely, all UGC approved Indian Universities degrees are recognized in foreign countries. Moreover, in foreign counties they do also verify NAAC accreditation for evaluating the standard of the University. So our university is having top ranking by NAAC of UGC.
